#TwitterArtExhibit utilizes social media and public engagement to generate income for charities and nonprofit organizations. In the past, #TwitterArtExhibit has generated funds for a library suffering from deep funding cuts to purchase much-needed children’s books, for an abused women’s shelter seeking to improve the lives of the families they serve, and for an arts organization mentoring underprivileged young adults in preparation for careers in the visual arts.

Artists worldwide donate postcard-sized, handmade original artwork to the TAE

TwitterArtExhibit organizes a local, physical showcasing of the art.

The public is invited to buy the art at an affordable, flat price.

This provides artists with new exhibition opportunities, new audiences and benefactors, and appeals to art enthusiasts all over the world.

Terms & Conditions
FUNDING LEGITIMATE CHARITIES:
80% of funds raised by Postcard Art Exhibit, from the sale of donated cards, go to the chosen charity, and 20% to PAE to cover ongoing maintenance costs. Benefiting organizations are vetted by Twitter Art Exhibit’s local organizers and our organizing board. One of our biggest concerns is doing our due diligence and taking every precaution to ensure our initiative does not exploit anybody and that schemers do not make off with our concerted efforts.

Entrants grant Postcard Art Exhibit, AKA. Twitter Art Exhibit, a non-exclusive license to use images of their work, in print and online, Internationally, in Perpetuity.

Copyright for submitted works remains the property of the entrant.

When an image is used, the artist and title of the work will be acknowledged.

The Organizers reserve the right to apply a watermark to digital images.

Images may be used for commercial purposes by Postcard Art Exhibit, AKA. Twitter Art Exhibit.

ATTRIBUTION: Artists will be credited online, in print, and with their physical artworks on display.

PRIVACY: All personal information collected by the Organizers will be used solely for the organization of the Postcard Art Exhibit, AKA.Twitter Art Exhibition.
When participating in Postcard Art Exhibit, AKA.Twitter Art Exhibit (in any city), you agree to our terms. Art submitted to this exhibition can be sold to raise money for our chosen charities, with 80% of proceeds from art sales going directly to the charity and 20% to PAE to cover maintenance costs. In addition, your art could be featured commercially in a publication or printed materials, which may be sold to help raise funds to help cover the organization’s operating costs.
